The Black Panthers

The Black Panther Party for Self-Defense was founded in October, 1966, in Oakland, California by Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale. Infiltrated by the FBI's COINTELPRO (Counter Intelligence Probe), the now defunct Black Panthers was once considered the most dangerous black revolutionary organization in America, with a national following.
